Fathers Day
Yes, Fathers Day will soon be upon us.
I've decided to go for a sporty theme for this card. The footballs were all individually handstamped and glazed with glossy accents onto a smooth white cardstock. Once this had dried I used an Inkduster and covered the card with Juniper Adirondack ink. I then stamped the Happy fathers Day sentiment in black ink and used the Juniper to dust over lightly. I mounted the sentiment onto black card and rounded the corners and used a bit of pinflair to attach it. I then mounted it all onto a black 5" x 5" card.
Simple but effective, ideal for football lovers.

Gift tags!
This is my latest make 2 gift tags!
I've made these using an inkduster and Adirondak inks for the background. To do this you tear a piece of copy paper in hill shapes (be careful not to create boobies) and starting from the bottom you ink it using an inkduster for a softer effect or use a brayer for a bolder effect. once you are happy with the first bit move the hills up and repeat, this makes the first bit darker and the seccond hill softer and adds perspective. TIP - if you move the hills around it looks more like a landscape.
Keep going until you are about 1 third up the tag or card. Then take a second colour and inkdust or brayer the top half making it paler as you get towards the hills - this creates the sky. Over stamp in whatever stamps you like! On these tags, I have used Inkylicious stamps - Dandelion Wishes, Delicate Vine and Create A Collage Wild Meadow. I've added a bit of gold glitter to the Dandelion heads for that bit of sparkle!
Then add whatever you like as a tie - here I've taken chalk white vintage crinkle ribbon, dyed it and scrunched it up to match the tag. You can use these lovely tags to finish off that perfect gift for someone special. Or why not use it on a scrapbook page - all inks are acid free so are perfectly safe for scrapbooking.
